Roll out the dough into a layer.
Use cookie cutters or a regular shot glass to cut out cookies.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet to bake at 190 degrees in the oven.
Bake cookies for 15-17 minutes. Turn on the oven in advance. Delicious crumbly mayonnaise cookies are ready.
Recipe 4: crumbly soft kefir cookies
- 2 cups wheat flour;
- 120 gr. Kefir (1% fat);
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 130 gr. Melted butter or margarine;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 0.5 tsp salt;
- 1 tsp baking powder (baking powder);
- If desired, add: vanillin, cinnamon and toppings.
Break chicken eggs into a deep, large bowl, measure out sugar and baking powder; we also added 1 tsp for flavor. cinnamon and a packet of vanillin.
The ingredients must be lightly whisked until a light foam forms, and then pour in kefir at room temperature. Important: the sugar must be completely dissolved.
Melt the butter and pour it into our mixture. Don't overheat the oil: you don't want it to start boiling. Otherwise the cookies will fail.
To make the cookies more airy, the flour must be sifted using a sieve.
Carefully add the sifted flour into the dough, piece by piece: make sure there are no lumps and knead the dough.
Since our dough contains melted butter, it needs to be put in a bag and in the refrigerator. At this stage the dough should be slightly viscous, but not sticky.
The dough should lie in a cold place for about 15-20 minutes. Then we take it out and roll it into layers. To achieve crispy but soft kefir shortbread cookies, make cookies about 1 cm thick.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet, greased and sprinkled with wheat flour. We sprinkled a small amount of sunflower seeds on top to give it a nice homemade cookies extra taste.
Place the cookies in a preheated oven (180 degrees C) and bake until golden brown crust.
Soft kefir shortbread cookies are ready. It turned out perfect: the cookies were soft and crumbly.
Recipe 5: crumbly margarine cookies
- Margarine for baking – 150 grams;
- Granulated sugar – 150 grams;
- Wheat flour – 350 grams;
- 1 egg;
- A teaspoon of soda.
Melt the margarine in a water bath, in the microwave, or over very low heat. To make this faster, take soft margarine and cut it into cubes.
When the margarine is the desired consistency, add the entire stated amount of granulated sugar to it. Mix the introduced ingredients thoroughly. Do this using a regular fork or a hand whisk.
The result was an oily sweet mass. Break one chicken egg into it. Mix the ingredients thoroughly in the bowl again.
Start sifting the wheat flour into the resulting mixture. Do not ignore the sifting process, this will saturate the flour with oxygen, and this will only improve the taste of the shortbread cookies. Add flour in parts, stirring immediately.
Quench the soda with acetic acid and add it to the dough along with the flour.
When you knead the dough, roll it into a ball, wrap it in film and put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface into a layer about a centimeter thick. Cut out cookies using special cutters or a glass.
Line a baking sheet parchment paper. Lay out the cookie dough. There is no need to lubricate the parchment with anything; margarine-based cookies will not stick.
Bake shortbread cookies for no more than 15 minutes at temperature oven at 180 degrees.

Recipe 6: tender crumbly cookies (step by step with photo)
- 180g butter
- 330g flour
- 1 egg + 1 yolk for brushing
- 60ml orange juice
- 115g sugar
- 1 tsp. with a heap of baking powder
- ½ tsp. soda
Beat soft butter with sugar.
Add egg, soda and baking powder. Whisk.
Pour out the juice.
And pour out the remaining flour. Mix everything thoroughly.
The dough turns out thick, homogeneous, but not tough. At first glance, it seems that it is sticky and it is impossible to mold something out of it.
Let's start forming the cookies. To do this, pinch off a small piece the size of a walnut.
Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Roll out the dough into a “sausage” approximately 15 cm long and 1 cm thick.
Roll it into a circle, pinch the ends and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment or a silicone mat. It’s more convenient for me to place the “sausage” on a baking sheet and give it shape there.
You can make “bagels” and “hearts”.
Lubricate them with yolk mixed with two tsp. water.
We bake our cookies until golden brown. Depending on how long you leave in the oven, the cookies will either be soft and crumbly, or they will become brittle and crispy. Both options are good in their own way. Bon appetit!
