In the old days, a good cherry was highly valued. The recipe for cooking with honey was considered the most natural and healthy. It requires only two components: berries and honey in a ratio of 2:1. In addition, you must have a wooden barrel with a lid and metal hoops. The mechanism of the process is quite simple and unpretentious:
- Pour ripe pitted cherries into a container so that only five centimeters remain to the top.

- Remove the fabric and install the shutter, bringing the exhaust pipe into the water. In this state, leave the product for a month and a half.

- Pour the remaining pulp with syrup (1.3 kilograms of sugar per 4 liters of water) and reinstall the water seal.
- A month later, make a second drain.
The result should be about 10 liters of liqueur. This will be the real cherry. The recipe without vodka allows you to keep the flavor of the berry almost unchanged.

Who doesn't love homemade cherries? The recipe for cooking without vodka can be supplemented with various spices. For a drink, they will not be superfluous. All actions must be carried out in strict sequence:
- First, fill the berries with water and let them stand for a while.
- Drain the water, and place the fruits in a mortar and crush with a pestle so that the bones break.
- Fold the resulting mass into a rag bag and place in a vessel for preparing a drink.
- Fill the container with fresh grape wine and leave to ferment.

Some people believe that store-bought liquor is all chemical. For them, a homemade cherry will be an excellent way out. Any recipe can be taken. The main thing is that everything is available. necessary products: for 50 berries and 200 cherry leaves - one and a half kilograms of sugar, 12 grams of citric acid, as well as one liter of vodka and ordinary water.
To prepare a drink you need:
- Put the berries together with the leaves in a saucepan, pour them with water, and then cook a little at a low boil.
- Strain the mixture.
- In the resulting broth add citric acid with sugar and also cook for 10 minutes.
- Add vodka to the syrup and bottle the liquid. You can put one leaf in each of them to make the taste more pronounced.
The drink will be ready in 2-3 weeks. If suddenly it turns out to be cloudy, then it can be filtered through gauze or a thin cloth before use. Such a liqueur can stand in a cool place for up to 24 months.

An excellent option to process all the berries in the harvest year would be a good strong cherry. A recipe with a photo can tell novice winemakers how the product should look at each stage. Take, for example, an option in which you need 0.6-0.7 liters of any vodka and 300-400 grams of sugar per kilogram of berries.

- ripe cherries - 300 grams;
- water - 200 ml;
- good quality vodka - 550 ml;
- granulated sugar - 5 tablespoons;
- cocoa powder - 4 tablespoons.

- Bring water to a boil, put a few tablespoons of high-quality cocoa in it, and send granulated sugar there.
- The composition is stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, while the solution should not be removed from the stove.
- When the mass is ready, it is poured into another container, using cheesecloth to strain the cocoa.
- The chocolate mixture is added to the liqueur, after which it is well mixed and left in a dark place for another couple of weeks.
- It is very important to stir every three days cherry tincture on vodka, otherwise the drink at home will not turn out so tasty.
- It is recommended to store the finished drink in the refrigerator, pour the liquor into glass bottles. As a result, the drink will turn out to be a little viscous, while it will have a sediment.
The sediment can be removed by straining the tincture several times. But you can use the drink without filtering, just pouring it carefully.

You can easily make cherry liqueur from frozen cherries. In this case, the product is prepared at home with vodka, but other pure strong drinks can also be used. This is a great drink option for those who do not have the opportunity to use fresh cherries, but still have a lot of frozen berries.
Cherry must be defrosted, and the juice obtained after defrosting is also added to the drink.
List of ingredients:
- frozen cherries - 1.1 kg;
- good quality vodka - 1.5 ml;
- granulated sugar - 2 cups.
Cooking method:
- The berries are lightly washed and sorted out, but only after they are completely defrosted.
- After that, the cherry is transferred to a jar with a wide neck.

- Fourteen days later, the syrup and tincture are mixed and poured into glass bottles. Defend the drink for another two weeks to get necessary taste and strength of the liqueur.
Drink with cherry leaves
As part of this cherry liqueur on vodka, there are cherry leaves and a little citric acid. A vodka drink is prepared in a three-liter jar, the leaves give the product a unique taste and aroma at home. In addition, this is recommended to be used if the harvest is small, but you want to cook a lot of liquor.
Required products:
- purified water - 1 liter;
- fresh berries - 300 g;
- granulated sugar - 1.3 kg;

This is a fairly simple cherry liqueur that you can make yourself at home. According to this recipe, the product is insisted on vodka, but alcohol or purified moonshine can also be used.
Required products:
- good quality vodka - 2 liters;
- ripe cherries - 2 kg;
- vanillin - 2 packs;
- liquid natural honey - 2 liters.
Cooking steps:
- Cherry berries are washed, after which the bones are removed from them. Ready berries are transferred to a jar and vanilla powder is added there. Immediately pour vodka into the container.
- The jar is closed tightly with a lid and left in the sun for about one month.
- When the allotted time has elapsed, the resulting drink should be filtered, the product should be poured into a clean bottle, and the cherry should not be thrown away, since it is still needed.
- The bottle of tincture is sent to a cool place, and in the meantime, they are preparing cherries.
- The berries are transferred to a glass jar and two liters are added to them. Again, the container is closed and placed on the windowsill, on the sunny side. In this form, the cherry is exactly a month.
- When thirty days have elapsed, honey with cherry juice is filtered to remove the berries. Next, the two products obtained are combined and shaken. It can be consumed immediately after cooling.
Cherry liqueur with mint
This version of an alcoholic drink will be more to the taste of those who love unusual liqueurs. Mint is used in this recipe, it gives a very bright flavor to the drink, while making the product very tasty.
Required products:
- lemon peel - 5 grams;
- ripe cherries - 640 grams;
- cherry pits - 12 pieces;
- good quality vodka - 50 ml;
- fresh mint leaves - 12 pieces;
- granulated sugar 130 grams.
Cooking steps:
- All berries are washed well, after which the bones are removed from them.
- You can cut the cherry into two parts and mash a little so that it gives more juice.
- Cherry stones are crushed in the required amount, after which they are placed in a gauze bag.

- For seven days, the drink is kept in the sun, and after that, it is removed to a dark place, where it is cool enough, where the liqueur remains for one month.
- The finished drink is filtered with gauze, and then poured into prepared bottles.
- In order to improve the taste and strength of the product, it is recommended to additionally withstand the liquor for about two months.

- carnation - 3 buds;
- cherry berries - 1.2 kg;
- good quality vodka - 630 ml;

- granulated sugar - 430 grams;

- Prepared cherries are placed in a jar and covered with lids.
- Water is heated in a container and jars are immersed there for five minutes.

- Alternatively, you can put on a tight glove on the neck of the jar, wrapping it with adhesive tape, or purchase a ready-made water seal in a medical equipment store. Attention: do not forget to add water as it evaporates.
- After fermentation has begun, the container should be transferred to a dark, warm (+22 - +27 C) place. The liquor should be kept until fermentation stops.
- When the cherry has fermented, it must be filtered through cotton wool wrapped in gauze. But first, do not forget to prepare clean, dry jars and pour into them finished product. Close the lid tightly.
- Mash the berries remaining after decanting until a puree is formed, after removing the seeds.
- Prepare sugar syrup. Boil and let cool.
- Pour syrup over cherry puree. Put a water seal and let it brew until the fermentation process stops.
- Strain the finished product, pour into jars and cork.
